NSW BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION (BUILDING) CERTIFICATE IV Recognition?

I would like to do this building licence course, it is a 2 year course. How much of this course i would be exempt from doing (approximately) since i have just completed a civil engineering degree at sydney university?

1. You have to apply to your nearest TAFE college offering the 2 year course in Building and Construction (Building) Certificate IV to find out how much Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) that you will be given for your studies that you have completed. Try this site for some information on RPL. https://www.tafensw.edu.au/applyenrol/recognition/index.htm#experience Generally, you do the Certificate IV while you work as an apprentice to a builder. These day they have to get a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to train you. I hope that this information helps you. Good Luck!!!
