are sea monkeys really good pet?

i tell my mother that if i will get a certificate of recognition in class, she will buy me a sea monkeys. are they really cool?

1. Sea monkeys are actually daphnia - they are tiny and you can barely see them. Get your certificate anyway and never mind the sea monkeys.
2. They are pretty cool, but don't last long for the money. Why not try for 2 certificates, and ask her to get you a small fish tank? Do lots of research on the internet before you buy and decide what fish to keep. I think you will enjoy them!
3. yeah get a fish tank and feed your fish the sea monkeys thats wat there for you know!
4. Sea monkeys aren't daphnia, they are brine shrimp. They are fine while they are younger but when they grow up they get creepy. Instead of buying the actual kits get some brine shrimp eggs meant for fish and hatch them. http://www.sea-monkeys.com/
